Experts: Minimal tariffs of mobile connection fall 15% in Jul–Dec

MOSCOW, Jan 10 (PRIME) -- The lowest bundle tariff of mobile connection in Russia decreased by 15% to 278 rubles in July–December 2021 in comparison to the first half of the year, news and research agency Content Review said in a statement on Monday.

“It happened thanks to the rebalancing of the tariffs by the operators after a withdrawal from the tariff lines of the offers with the unlimited mobile Internet. The transfer of the tariffs with the unlimited Internet to the upper price segment gave a way for more affordable starting bundle tariffs,” Content Review said.

The trend was also supported by the launch of New Year offers at a flat price by MTS and Tele2 on the nationwide scale, which boosted affordability of mobile connection in the regions where tariffs have been traditionally costly.
